Village of Weedsport Notice of Tax Collection

Take Notice:  That I, the undersigned Collector of the Village of Weedsport have received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes for the fiscal 2026-2027 year.

Collection of the above taxes will be at the Village Office, 8892 South St., Weedsport NY during regular business hours March 1, 2026 thru April 1, 2026, without penalty. Taxes may be paid online at: weedsport.gov and click TAX GLANCE.

On April 2, 2026 a 5% penalty will be added.  Each month thereafter, 1% per month will be added to the bill until October 16, 2026.  At that time, all unpaid taxes will be turned over to the Cayuga County Treasurer for collection and enforcement.

VILLAGE OF WEEDSPORT RESIDENTS – MEETING DATE CHANGE

A Board meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 14th, 2026, at 6:00pm instead of Wednesday, October 7th, at 6:00pm. The meeting will be held at the Village Hall, 8892 South Street. All interested persons will be heard.

VILLAGE OF WEEDSPORT RESIDENTS – NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Please take notice that a public hearing will be held by the Village Board of Trustees on Wednesday, October 14th, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Village Hall at 8892 South Street. The Board will consider a water rate increase on the service charge and to equalize the billing for Village Heights Subdivision to the current rate of $8.59 per 1000 gallons. Any resident of the Village of Weedsport is entitled to be heard.

VILLAGE OF WEEDSPORT RESIDENTS – NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Please take notice that a public hearing will be held by the Village Board of Trustees on Thursday, October 22nd, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the Village Hall at 8892 South Street. The Board will conduct a DRI information session. Any resident of the Village of Weedsport is entitled to be heard.
