VILLAGE OF WEEDSPORT RESIDENTS
A Zoning Board of Appeals meeting will be held on Thursday, March 19 th at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Hall, 8892 South Street. The purpose of the meeting is to consider area variance for a fence at 8772 S Seneca St. The applicant is asking for a 4-foot-high fence where zoning allows a 3-foot max. He owns a through lot, which has two front yards. All interested persons will be heard.

Village of Weedsport Notice of Tax Collection
Take Notice: That I, the undersigned Collector of the Village of Weedsport have received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes for the fiscal 2026-2027 year.
Collection of the above taxes will be at the Village Office, 8892 South St., Weedsport NY during regular business hours March 1, 2026 thru April 1, 2026, without penalty. Taxes may be paid online at: weedsport.gov and click TAX GLANCE.
On April 2, 2026 a 5% penalty will be added. Each month thereafter, 1% per month will be added to the bill until October 16, 2026. At that time, all unpaid taxes will be turned over to the Cayuga County Treasurer for collection and enforcement.

NOTICE OF GENERAL VILLAGE ELECTION
Please take notice that a General Village Election will be held on the 18 th day of March 2026. You must be registered with the County Board of Elections by March 6, 2026 to be eligible to vote in this election. This Election will be held at the Village Office, 8892 South Street between the hours of 12 noon and 9:00 p.m. The following candidates have been nominated for the office and term listed:
